Rezá Azul is a vocal duo featuring premiere San Francisco Bay Area & Los Angeles vocal coach, Raz Kennedy and Teresa Kali, a professional singer, sound healer, soundscape artist and vocal instructor from Malmö, Sweden. This informed and inspiring team is excited to present Vocal Mechanics And Technique, an enlightening, 90-minute group class, which explains approaches to using the voice at a performance status in a healthy and safe way which can be applied in all singing styles.

Rezá Azul will instruct each participant to enhance their command of their instrument, exploring topics, such as range, intonation, breath management, balancing vocal registers, vowel formation, and dynamics. Raz & Teresa will share their unique perspective on what makes for an effective vocal performance.

The community setting provides a safe and supportive space for singers to explore the various methods that Raz Kennedy and Teresa Kālī have acquired over several decades of singing and teaching. Insights from this class affords participants an overview of what makes for effective and expressive singing.

These classes will take place at Raz’ studio location in Berkeley.
